Join Asheville Bills Backers and IBEW Local 238 for a Volunteer Day to Aid Hurricane Helene Cleanup in Western North Carolina

Asheville, NC – November 18, 2024  

In the spirit of community and resilience, the Asheville Bills Backers and IBEW Local 238 invite volunteers to join a cleanup effort supporting "Beloved Asheville" as part of the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Helene's devastating impact. The event will take place on Sunday, December 8th, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 2:30 PM at BeLoved Asheville.  

Participants will gather to lend a hand in Western North Carolina's restoration and show solidarity with those affected by the storm. This initiative underscores the power of unity, bringing together fans, union members, and community allies to make a meaningful difference.  

Details:  

- Event Date: Sunday, December 8th, 2024  

- Orientation: Begins promptly at 9:30 AM  

- Location: BeLoved Asheville, 32 Old Charlotte Highway, Asheville, NC 28805  

- Parking: Details will be emailed to registered participants closer to the event.  

- Time: 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM (or as much time as you can contribute!)  

- RSVP Deadline: November 24th, 2024  

After a fulfilling day of volunteer work, participants are encouraged to relax and connect at the AVL Bills Backers Watch Party, celebrating their collective impact and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow volunteers.
