New Journeyman Wireman!!

Brothers and Sisters please congratulate Brother Brandon Mode on achieving journeyman wireman status!! Brother Mode passed the 10th District Journeyman written exam on October 30 and then passed the 10th District Journeyman Hands-on test on November 6. Brandon is employed by Miller Electric.

Brothers and Sisters please welcome Brother Danny Hinson to Local 238 membership. Danny is a former member of Local 553 and graduated from their apprenticeship program. Danny has presented his application for membership to Local 238 and was accepted by the Executive Board at their October 17 meeting.

On Saturday, September 19, 2020, 55 year member Larry Keenan (L) and 50 year member Les Silvers (R) were presented with service award pins and certificates by President Joey Moore (C).

WNC AFL-CIO Endorsed Labor Candidates

Brothers and Sisters, the following list of candidates has been endorsed by the Western North Carolina Central Labor Council and the North Carolina AFL-CIO. Most of these candidates filled out a survey and were personally interviewed by union members. In the beginning those interviews were face to face and later on they transitioned to Zoom meetings.

New Journeyman Wireman!!

New Journeyman Wireman!!! Brothers and Sisters we are proud to announce that Local 238 has a new Journeyman Inside Wireman. Brother Jonathan Knox passed the 10th District written journeyman test on July 17 and passed the 10th District journeyman hands-on exam on July 24.
