Dustin was sworn in by Business Manager Phillips at Harrah's Casino Resort in front of about 125 of his brother and sister electricians, who are wiring a 725 room hotel and convention center in Cherokee, NC.

These young men are 1st year apprentices and are currently working for BESCO (Knoxville) on the new Tom Apodaca Sciences Building on the campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee NC.

Brothers and Sisters please welcome new member Joe Travaglini to Local 238 membership. Brother Travaligni is a CE-3 and a former member of Local 68 Denver, Colorado. Joe's membership application to Local 238 was approved by the E-Board on Saturday, November 21, 2020.

Brothers and Sisters, Local 238 is pleased to welcome Grant Gelette into membership. Grant presented 14,000 verifiable work hours and a NC State Electrical Contractor's License to Local 238 organizers and requested to challenge the 10th District hands-on exam. Grant passed the 10th District hands-on test on Friday, November 13, 2020.

New Journeyman Wireman!!

Brothers and Sisters please congratulate Brother Brandon Mode on achieving journeyman wireman status!! Brother Mode passed the 10th District Journeyman written exam on October 30 and then passed the 10th District Journeyman Hands-on test on November 6. Brandon is employed by Miller Electric.

Danny has presented his application for membership to Local 238 and was accepted by the Executive Board at their October 17 meeting.
